Bumblebee and Optimus Prime are returning with new variants thanks to Super7. We spotted these three new figures over at the Big Bad Toy Store.
The first two we’re looking at are the Super Cyborg versions of Bumblebee. Now there’s a retro look for ya. The Super Cyborg Bumblebee features a removable chest plate that reveals the inner works of the Cybertronian being. He also comes molded in transparent plastic for that extra display power.
The Super Cyborg figures are priced at $84.99 and look to be shipping between this month and December 2021.
Also joining Bumblebee is a holly jolly version of the Autobots’ leader, Optimus Prime. Decked out in a Santa hat and with a festive glitter paint job, Prime is ready to dispense energon presents.
Prime doesn’t come with a bunch of frills. But, aside from the glitter, Santa hat, and candy cane gun, he is still the same as his previously released 3.75″ Super7 figure. This guy is stocking stuffer material for sure.
Seeing the glitter coat makes me wish we’d get a Prime with a super glossy metallic flake paint job. But, if he is going to disguise himself as a truck, he may as well be the most badass looking semi!
Prime is priced at $17.99 and should be arriving just in time for Christmas.
What are your thoughts on these new additions to Super7’s Transformers line? Let us know in the comments.
